Nestville Whisky Master Blender 2017 8yo is the first whisky from the collectible, limited Nestville Whisky Master Blender edition, crafted through the unique process of 7-column distillation. Production takes place entirely under one roof – from grain to glass – highlighting its exceptional character. To achieve perfect harmony of taste, we carefully selected and blended spirit in batches from four archive oak casks of the finest production lots, which were filled for maturation in 2009. Each bottle is unique, featuring a hand-written bottle number, the numbers of the casks from which it was bottled, cask filling dates, bottling date, and the signatures of the expert judges who participated in selecting the final sample.
In the case of this whisky, it was a pure selection of four archive casks. This whisky was released in a limited quantity of 1,386 bottles with an alcohol content of 46%.
Jim Murray, the globally recognised whisky expert and critic, awarded our Nestville Whisky Master Blender 2017 8yo 46% in his Whisky Bible as The Best European Whisky of the Year 2019 in the Multiple Cask category, with a score of 95.5 out of 100 points. It is also Kosher certified. In 2023, this whisky was auctioned for almost €1,650, and its collectible value continues to rise.
