When the gates of the exhibition center in Cologne opened on the first weekend of October and crowds of visitors poured into the halls where the future of global gastronomy is shaped, our hearts filled with pride and excitement. To stand among the biggest brands in the world, among those who create the history of the food industry, was a tremendous opportunity for the Nestville Whisky brand.
Our journey to the world stage began long before we set out for Germany. It started at the Nestville Distillery in northern Slovakia, where whisky with a soul is born-crafted by the hands of masters who believe that quality cannot be rushed. Each of us who embarked on this journey carried a piece of home with us: the scent of oak wood, the taste of pure mountain springs, and the pride of a craft rooted in love for tradition and the courage to keep pushing boundaries.
The trip to Cologne was not just about logistics and preparation. It was about emotions. About the anticipation of how the world would receive our work. About the responsibility of representing not only our brand but also our country. When we arrived and saw the sign “ANUGA,” we held our breath and our hearts began to race. We were there. Nestville Whisky stood proudly among the world’s finest brands.
The air at ANUGA 2025 pulsed with energy, scents from every corner of the world, and the enthusiasm of both visitors and exhibitors. People from all over Europe stopped by our booth—some out of curiosity, others because they had already heard of us. Their reactions, the genuine smiles after the first sip of Nestville Whisky melting on their tongues, the words of appreciation, and the questions about our history and how the Nestville Whisky brand came to be all of this was proof that we are on a meaningful journey.



Visitors lingered at our booth, looking around curiously, tasting with smiles, and often reaching for their phones to capture the moment as a small memory of something special. These were the moments when the buzz of the trade fair seemed to slow down. The scent of oak, the gentle aroma of whisky, and the friendly conversations created an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.
Some visitors returned to our booth several times first out of curiosity, then with the certainty that they had found a place where they felt welcome. Conversations grew longer, laughter mingled with the clinking of glasses, and each tasting of Nestville Whisky turned into a small ritual of joy. The atmosphere around our stand became an oasis of comfort and authenticity, where the Slovak spirit met the openness of the world. Amid the noise and rush of the vast exhibition hall, we realized that these genuine conversations, curious glances, and sparkles of excitement in visitors’ eyes are the very reason we do what we do.
Behind every success stand people our colleagues, who with determination and passion prepared every detail of the Nestville Whisky presentation, as well as those who work tirelessly back home at Nestville Distillery, making it possible for us to travel the world. Our business partners, who believe in the strength of the brand. And, of course, our founders, who years ago had the courage to believe in a dream that has now become reality.
During those five days, we did not count the hours or feel the fatigue. Every visitor’s smile, every word of recognition, every “thank you” gave us new energy. ANUGA 2025 was more than just a brand presentation. It was a celebration of dedicated work, friendship, and the belief that Slovak whisky has its rightful place on the world stage.



We are leaving Cologne with our heads full of memories, our hearts full of gratitude, and with the knowledge that this is only the beginning of our long journey. We thank everyone who stopped by, tasted Nestville Whisky, and encouraged our vision. We thank our colleagues for their dedication, our partners for their trust, and our founders for the vision that keeps driving us forward.
ANUGA 2025 reminded us that dreams come true when you pour your heart, work, and passion into them. Nestville Whisky stood there with pride and determination as proof that craftsmanship, tradition, and honesty have a truly world-class flavor. And we already know that we want to return next year with determination, new ideas, full glasses, and hearts filled with humility.
